Build My Great Team® by Atticus® is seeking an Attorney - Estate Planning & Elder Law to lead their Brooklyn office. The role involves managing client matters and shaping the client journey in estate planning and elder law.
About the Role
As the primary attorney for the Brooklyn office, you will manage client matters from consultation through completion, guide clients through estate planning, elder law, and Medicaid planning, and lead daily legal operations. You will collaborate with firm leadership on workflow and client service while supporting the development of a local team as the office grows.
About You
Required:
- JD and active New York license in good standing.
- 3 to 5 years of estate planning, elder law, or trust and estates experience.
- Experience managing matters from consultation through execution.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Estate planning and elder law experience with hands-on responsibility.
- Familiarity with Medicaid planning and administration matters.
- Experience with planning software such as ElderCounsel or WealthCounsel.
- Bilingual ability.
