About the Role
As an Attorney at State Farm, you will be responsible for case ownership, participating in litigation events, and collaborating with clients and colleagues. Your daily tasks will include preparing reports for proceedings, developing trial strategies, and attending trials, mediations, and depositions. This hybrid role requires time spent both in the office and virtually, with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
About You
Required:
- 1-7 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience.
- Active law license to practice in the state of New York.
Preferred:
- Litigation experience in insurance defense, medical malpractice, personal injury, or workers compensation.
- Knowledge of local and state discovery rules, trial procedures, and applicable substantive law.
