Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP is seeking an Attorney to join their trial and civil litigation team in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves litigating civil matters for major property owners and management companies in California.
About the Role
As an Attorney, you will be responsible for litigating lease disputes, unlawful detainer actions, and other matters related to property ownership in California state courts from inception to trial. You will provide legal advice through phone consultations, respond to client inquiries, prepare motions and pleadings, and conduct depositions.
About You
Required:
- J.D. and active California Bar license
- 2+ years of trial experience
- Strong oral advocacy and legal writing skills
- Ability to work with diverse individuals from various backgrounds
Preferred:
- Knowledge of landlord/tenant law, rules of civil procedure, and trial advocacy
- Jury Trial experience or similar tribunal experience
