About the Role

As an Audio Software Engineer, Applied Scientist, you will collaborate with a team across various scientific and engineering disciplines to deliver software solutions. Your responsibilities include writing clean code, debugging complex issues, and developing audio software for a range of devices while embracing new technologies and problem-solving challenges.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of software development experience in industry settings or a PhD with 2+ years of experience.
3+ years of relevant audio software engineering experience in industry settings.
Experience with C or C++, including C++11/14/17 features.
Demonstrated communication skills and experience working across disciplines.

Preferred:

Expertise in audio signal processing and auditory perception, including classical and machine learning techniques.
Proven track record of innovation through products shipped, publications, or patents.
Experience with Generative AI.
Familiarity with audio stack components such as codecs, audio capture/render, and network compensation/jitter buffer.
