Summary
BMA is seeking an Audio Visual Command Meeting Engineer to support the DLA JETS Network & Telecom Services Division Video Support Services program. This position is located at Fort Belvoir, VA and is contingent upon contract award.
About the Role
As an Audio Visual Command Meeting Engineer, you will serve as the Lead Audio Visual Engineer managing a team of three Audio Visual Engineers. Your responsibilities will include providing support to Integrated Command Conference Rooms, auditoriums, and meeting spaces, managing AV projects, installing AV systems, and conducting customer training. You will also be involved in troubleshooting classified systems and performing inventory management.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years relevant experience working with Crestron, Cisco, Extron, and Biamp/AMX hardware and systems.
- One or more of the following certifications: AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification, Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification or AVIXA CTS certification.
- Current US Passport.
- Demonstrated experience with unclassified and classified networks including the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS).
- Demonstrated experience with maintenance plans.
- Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system.
- Demonstrated experience with MS TEAMS and ZOOM technologies.
- Demonstrated experience with ANSI/TIA-568.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting DLA contracts.
- Experience developing and delivering system code.
- BS or BA in telecommunications or related information technology field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) from a recognized certification organization.
