About the Role
As an Audit Staff member, you will be responsible for auditing, reviewing, and compiling financial statements, assisting in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, advising clients on routine accounting functions, and maintaining relationships with key client personnel. You will also participate in special reviews related to mergers and acquisitions and audit benefit plans. The position offers diverse opportunities to work with various industries on both domestic and international client engagements.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's in Accounting and/or Business Administration or similar degree, Masters in Accounting.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Proficient with Excel.
- Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.
- Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs).
- CPA Eligibility: Must meet educational requirements to obtain a CPA license.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
- Desire to travel.
- Available to work/travel evenings or weekends if needed.
