About the Role
As an Austin Fire Alarm Service Inspection Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that fire alarms, fire sprinklers, extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other life safety equipment are operating correctly. You will generate inspection reports, communicate findings to customers, and adhere to safety procedures while on-site. The position requires participation in after-hours on-call rotation and the ability to work in various physical conditions.
About You
Required:
- Texas State Fire Alarm License required.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and multi-meters.
- Ability to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to perform work in unusual and difficult positions such as climbing ladders and working in crawl spaces.
Preferred:
- Notifier certification or knowledge of Notifier parts.
- Additional Texas State Licenses outside fire alarm license.
