About the Role
As an Autism Support Broker, you will meet with families regularly to assist them in developing person-centered Autism Support Plans, managing budgets, and accessing services. You will facilitate communication between families and service providers, ensure compliance with standards, and support families in navigating the Autism Waiver Program. The position requires flexibility to meet family needs and maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of three years’ experience in progressively responsible human services functions, with at least one year in the autism community.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as special education, psychology, or applied behavior analysis, or an Associate’s degree with five years of relevant experience.
Preferred:
- Experience working with families facing social and economic challenges.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed service delivery and various clinical interventions for individuals with ASD.
