About the Role
As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles, ensuring quality repairs that align with the company's standards. Your daily tasks will include planning repair work, preparing cost estimates, using various tools for repairs, realigning chassis, replacing damaged sections, and ensuring all work meets labor time guidelines. You will also inspect vehicles post-repair to ensure quality and perform other related duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
- Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
- Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
Preferred:
- Experience working in an auto body shop.
- Familiarity with various tools required for the trade.
