Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to join their team in Sacramento, CA. The role involves providing exceptional customer service through the quality repair of vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition.
About the Role
As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for assessing and repairing vehicles, ensuring quality and speed in your work. Your daily tasks will include disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles, planning repair work, preparing cost estimates, and using various tools for repairs. You will also be expected to inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and contribute to achieving the repair facility's KPIs.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
Preferred:
Experience working in an auto body shop.
Familiarity with using tools required for the trade.
