About the Role
As an Automation Engineer, you will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to optimize automation processes. Your responsibilities will include configuring the Fabguard Integrated Process Monitoring application, integrating various Eyelit applications with the manufacturing execution system (MES), troubleshooting existing automation systems, and developing documentation. You will also stay updated on trends in automation and semiconductor manufacturing.
About You
Required:
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with Software Solutions in a Semiconductor or Manufacturing environment.
Preferred:
- Strong understanding of SECS/GEM protocol for equipment automation and familiarity with SEMI standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Programming experience in Python and SQL to support automation and data analysis tasks.
- Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment.
- Experience with cleanroom manufacturing environments.
