About the Role
As an Automation Engineer, you will work with a cross-functional team to maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment and management of infrastructure and applications. You will also enhance your DevSecOps skills while supporting critical naval platforms.
About You
Required:
- 6+ years of experience with supporting DoD or government agencies.
- 3+ years of experience with troubleshooting, triaging, or resolving issues related to automation using Ansible or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Agile development.
- Knowledge of automation tools, including Ansible, version control systems, including Git, operating systems, including RHEL and Windows, and virtualization, including VMware.
- Ability to develop tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
Preferred:
- Experience with designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC).
- Experience with application containerization.
- Experience with modeling network configuration in JSON and YAML.
- Experience with network automation in Python and Ansible.
- Knowledge of networking principles and concepts.
- Knowledge of API design and object-oriented principles.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Master's degree in a STEM field.
