Thorlabs is seeking an Automation Machining Technician II to join their team in Newton, NJ. The role involves advancing and supporting the transformation to full production machining automation of new and existing product lines.
About the Role
As an Automation Machining Technician II, you will be responsible for machining new and repairing tooling fixtures to support Automation production CNC machines. You will monitor and inspect machined components for accuracy, perform general housekeeping in the work area, and ensure compliance with company standards and safety procedures.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar position.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred:
- CNC certification or CNC Trade School.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing.
