About the Role
As an Automations and Controls Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and document control systems that enhance productivity and automation. Your responsibilities will include designing control systems, programming PLCs, conducting testing and validation, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent extensive work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience with electrical/mechanical control systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Expert knowledge of motion control theory, process control, and instrumentation using various control systems.
Preferred:
- Solid knowledge of NEC, ANSI B11, NFPA 70E, UL508, and machine safety architecture.
- Experience with programming Cobot and machine/operator integration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
