V2X Inc is seeking an Automotive Aftermarket Instructor to join their team in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Green Bay region. The role involves delivering technical training and providing automotive subject matter expertise.
About the Role
As an Automotive Aftermarket Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering technical training both virtually and in-person, utilizing various formats such as seminars and hands-on sessions. You will demonstrate vehicle diagnosis and repair procedures, evaluate the skills of service technicians, and develop training content across multiple media types. The position requires 25% - 50% overnight travel to various training locations.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of five years automotive technician experience.
- Proficient with automotive service information and diagnostic support software.
- Ability to work skillfully with highly technical diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team setting.
- Strong working knowledge in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Current ASE Certified Master A1 - A-8 Automobile Technician.
- ASE A9, L1, L3, L4 and Section 609 certifications.
- Automotive instructor or public speaking experience.
- Experience with aftermarket parts and supplier processes.
- Ability to research technical topics for curriculum development.
