About the Role
As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on gasoline vehicles. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, repair or replace components, maintain accurate service records, and ensure compliance with safety policies. You will also communicate effectively with supervisors and assist with emergency repairs when required.
About You
Required:
- At least 4 years of experience as an automotive mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment technician.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing automotive systems using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical bulletins.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in shop and field environments, indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work Monday-Friday with occasional after-hours or weekend assignments.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Preferred:
- ASE Certifications (Automobile or Medium/Heavy Truck).
- Experience with fleet maintenance programs or shop management systems.
- CDL Class B or higher.
- Welding or fabrication experience.
- EPA Section 609 Certification for A/C service.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certification.
