About the Role
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing vehicle issues, completing inspections, managing inventory, and performing repairs in accordance with safety standards. The General Service Technician role includes routine vehicle maintenance and delivering high-quality service to customers. Both positions require effective communication and adherence to company policies.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2+ years of automotive and sales experience for Assistant Manager role.
- Valid Driver License and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and basic algebra skills.
Preferred:
- Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair.
- ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable).
- Ownership of a basic set of tools or participation in Monro's tool purchase program.
