About the Role
As an Automotive Used Car Reconditioning Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. You will perform work specified on repair orders efficiently, test-drive vehicles, and communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional services needed. The position requires adherence to manufacturer specifications for warranty repairs and involves a flexible work schedule, typically around 40 hours per week.
About You
Required:
- Current/recent experience as a Used Car Technician in an independent shop, tire store, or dealership.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. routinely.
- High school graduate or GED.
Preferred:
- ASE certifications.
- Satisfactory employment references.
