About the Role
The AVP/VP, Product & Underwriting Practice Leader will oversee the full product lifecycle, risk selection, and innovation for both digital and intermediated channels. Responsibilities include setting vision and strategy, ensuring underwriting excellence, conducting market and risk analysis, managing product launches, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in product management and/or underwriting.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance, customer segments, competitors, and trends.
Preferred:
- Experience with Lloyd’s of London, CPCU or RPLU designation.
- Exceptional skills in product visioning, strategy formulation, roadmap development, prioritization, and execution.
