About the Role
As an AVP, Complex E&S Claims, you will manage 120-140 complex, high-severity E&S claims, conduct coverage analysis, investigate claims, establish reserves, develop strategic plans for resolution, collaborate with stakeholders, monitor litigation, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 8 years of complex claims handling experience, with a strong focus on E&S or specialty lines.
- Proven experience managing high-exposure and litigated claims.
- Strong knowledge of coverage analysis and policy interpretation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage defense counsel and litigation strategy effectively.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to independently manage a high-volume, complex caseload.
Preferred:
- Juris Doctor (JD) highly preferred.
- Industry designations such as CPCU, AIC, or SCLA are a plus.
Benefits
- Base Salary: $140k to $160k per year (up to $170k for exceptional candidates).
- Annual Target Bonus: 15%.
