Summary
Synchrony is seeking an AVP, Healthcare Strategy to join their team in Stamford, CT. The role involves supporting the development of long-term strategy and diversification plans for the Health & Wellness Platform.
About the Role
As the AVP, Healthcare Strategy, you will partner in developing agendas and materials for the Executive Leadership Team, assess growth opportunities, research competitive insights, and translate strategies into actionable programs. You will also collaborate with M&A and Ventures teams to define acquisition strategies and lead key projects as needed.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years’ experience in financial services or healthcare.
- 1+ year experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic planning or other business strategy related roles.
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to lead problem solving for complex business issues.
Preferred:
- Strategy consulting experience.
- Experience in Financial Services, specifically credit cards.
- Strong quantitative skills with experience creating data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
