About the Role
As the AVP, Sourcing and Contracting, you will be a key member of the Supply Chain Executive Leadership team, responsible for managing approximately $1.3 billion in operating and capital expenses. You will lead procurement activities, establish strategic sourcing and contract management programs, and ensure compliance with government regulations. Your role includes mentoring staff, developing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in competitive bidding and contract management.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- At least twelve (12) years of progressively increased responsibility in a hospital and/or healthcare environment, preferably in Sourcing and Contracting or Procurement.
- Professional experience with contracting terms and conditions, Value Analysis, and strategy development.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree.
- At least eight (8) years of progressively increased responsibility in healthcare Supply Chain experience in a multi-hospital system performing contract negotiations and development.
- Previous experience in Lean Methodologies or Process Improvement Frameworks.
