About the Role
As an Awake Overnight Residential Counselor, you will be responsible for administering medication, implementing treatment plans, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the program. You will work collaboratively with the individuals served, their families, and other support staff to enhance their quality of life and foster independence.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age and valid US driver's license for at least 6 months.
- Ability to pass a CORI, driving record, employment reference check, and multi-state background check.
- CPR and First Aid certification within two weeks of hire.
- MAP certification within 150 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Associate's degree in a human services related discipline.
- Prior experience working in a human services setting.
- Bilingual/bicultural applicants and those with lived experience of psychiatric conditions.
