About the Role
As a Back Office Medical Receptionist/Patient Account Representative, you will be responsible for resolving billing and payment issues, researching discrepancies in patient accounts, reviewing and updating patient insurance information, and communicating with insurance companies for prior authorizations. You will also assist with answering phones, scheduling new patients, and providing excellent customer service to both patients and healthcare providers.
About You
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least two years of previous medical back office experience.
- Experience obtaining insurance authorizations and managing insurance denials.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Previous experience with medical software.
