About the Role
As a Band-Saw Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating the band-saw and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently. Your daily tasks will include troubleshooting machinery, packaging finished products, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring good housekeeping standards. You will also provide on-the-job training for new operators and must be able to read a measuring tape and perform basic arithmetic.
About You
Required:
- At least 6 months experience in operating machinery.
- Ability to read a measuring tape.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of manufacturing experience.
