About the Role
As a Barrel Bar Technician, you will be responsible for using go/no-go gauges to sort materials, operating hydraulic presses, and grinding machines to meet specifications. You will also etch products with a laser engraver, box finished products, and maintain documentation related to your work. The position requires adherence to health and safety policies and collaboration with peers to ensure a safe work environment.
About You
Required:
- Ability to read, write, and articulate information both verbally and in writing.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform simple math calculations.
- Attention to detail regarding product aesthetics and quality.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to work with automated and manual tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a production setting doing highly repetitive work.
- Experience operating mechanical equipment.
