Legend Biotech is seeking a BAS/EMS Technician to join their Facilities & Engineering team in Raritan, NJ. The role involves providing engineering support for building automation and controls systems in a cGMP Clinical and Commercial Cell Therapy Manufacturing plant.
About the Role
As a BAS/EMS Technician, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day activities related to building automation systems (BAS) and energy management systems (EMS), including life cycle management, troubleshooting, and compliance with cGMP requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain automation tools, conduct data performance monitoring, and provide training to end users.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of 2 years as an automation and controls field service technician.
- Experience troubleshooting complex systems.
- Deep knowledge of Honeywell and Siemens BAS software, hardware, protocols, and IT infrastructure.
- Expertise in GMP compliance knowledge including knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11.
- Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with ICH and/or 21 CFR parts 210, 211, 1271.
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA/EU guidance related to manufacturing of cell-based products.
- Experience authoring and executing documentation including Batch Records, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
