Summary
Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a BAW/SAW Engineering Co-Op for Summer/Fall 2026 to join their team in Irvine, CA. The role involves participating in the technology development of piezoelectric Bulk and Surface acoustic resonators (BAW/SAW).
About the Role
As a BAW/SAW Engineering Co-Op, you will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with engineers and scientists to provide characterization, modeling, and analysis support. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing RF measurements, performing data analysis, and proposing innovative designs for BAW devices based on physics-based and data-driven models.
About You
Required:
- Current student pursuing a PhD in a relevant engineering field.
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week from June/July to December 2026.
- Must be able to work onsite in the design center in Irvine, CA.
Preferred:
- Basic hands-on experience with RF and/or electrical equipment.
- Experience with scientific programming using MATLAB and/or Python.
- Familiarity with statistics, machine learning techniques, algorithms, and optimization.
- Knowledge of RF concepts and circuit simulators (ADS).
- Knowledge of FEM tools, such as COMSOL.
- Knowledge in BAW resonators or RFMEMS resonators.
