About the Role
As a Bed Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient patient flow, effective communication among departments, and optimal bed utilization to support high-quality patient care. Your daily tasks will include assigning patient beds, coordinating admissions and discharges, monitoring bed availability, and collaborating with nursing and clinical staff to prioritize bed assignments during high census periods.
About You
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting required.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations and bed management practices.
Preferred:
- Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in hospital bed management, patient admissions, or related healthcare setting preferred.
