Summary
Center for Learning and Autism Support Services, Inc. (CLASS) is seeking a Behavior Technician to join their team in San Mateo, CA. The role involves providing 1:1 behavior therapy to children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
About the Role
As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children with autism in home and community settings, delivering behavior therapy and supporting their development. You will complete training and skills competency before working independently, follow clinical programs created by the Clinical Team, and collect data accurately. The position requires clear communication with team members and families, as well as handling basic administrative tasks.
About You
Required:
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Must be punctual and responsive
Preferred:
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism
- Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs and perform physical activities like kneeling, bending, standing, walking, and playing with children

- Hourly Pay: $23 to $31 (DOE & education)
