Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join their growing team in Quincy, MA. The role involves implementing clients’ behavior support plans and providing ABA-based instruction to promote skill development.
About the Role
As a Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring client behavior, collecting data, and reporting findings to the supervising BCBA. You will work collaboratively with the BCBA and clients' families to support meaningful changes in client behavior.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or GED with 24 months of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families.
Associates degree or higher in a relevant field with 12 months of experience, or certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with 12 months of experience.
Preferred:
Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions.
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
