About the Role
As a Behavioral Health Associate, you will be an integral part of the treatment team, responsible for ensuring patient safety through regular safety checks, engaging with patients to assess their mental status and emotional needs, and assisting in crisis situations. You will also encourage patient participation in therapeutic activities, provide 1:1 support, and float to different units as needed.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Passion for behavioral health and assisting patients.
Preferred:
- Experience in human services, social work, behavioral health, or in a hospital setting.
