About the Role
As a Behavioral Health Consultant, you will be a core member of the healthcare team, responsible for improving recognition, treatment, and management of psychosocial and behavioral problems. Your duties will include providing immediate support to patients, conducting therapeutic counseling, and advocating for patients' mental health and substance abuse needs. You will also participate in system-wide learning collaboratives and engage with patients to enhance their care experience.
About You
Required:
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Field.
- 2 years experience in evidence-based counseling techniques, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of common mental health and substance abuse disorders.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
