About You
- Provisionally or independently licensed counselor or social worker in South Carolina.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Minimum of two years of experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Training in trauma-informed care or experience with clients with a history of trauma.
- Experience with play therapy for younger clients.

When drastic interventions are used, such as removal from the home, we believe clients should continue to be served in a home setting with structure and supportive services in order to address relevant treatment issues. At Growing Home Southeast, Inc. we routinely track and measure outcomes to improve existing programs and meet newly identified needs in the communities that we serve. Our services are accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). We are a founding member of the Foster Family-based Treatment Association (FFTA), member of the Alliance for Children and Families, United Way of the Midlands, Midlands Area Consortium for the Homeless (MACH) and the Palmetto Association for Children and Families.
