Mount Auburn Hospital is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health Patient Care Associate to join their team on the Wyman 2 inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit in Cambridge, MA. The role focuses on providing direct patient care and supporting psychiatric nursing care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The Behavioral Health Patient Care Associate provides direct physical care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living such as nutrition, hygiene, hydration, elimination, mobility, and comfort. Responsibilities include performing vital signs, weights, intake/output measurements, documenting in EPIC, reporting changes in patients' physical and mental conditions, participating in treatment and behavioral plans, maintaining a safe and clean environment, responding to patient call lights, caring for equipment, participating in milieu groups and activities, providing one-to-one patient observation, transporting discharged patients, monitoring patient whereabouts with 15-minute checks as assigned, and performing phlebotomy, EKGs, and glucometer tests as requested by nursing staff. All activities are performed in accordance with established unit, hospital, and nursing policies.
