About the Role
As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will respond to crisis situations, manage mental health emergencies, collaborate with clinical staff, and assist families in accessing behavioral health resources. You will also provide psychoeducation and skill-building interventions, maintain documentation, and engage in training to uphold agency standards.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s degree or minimum of three years of experience in a behavioral health setting working with youth and families.
- Must meet qualifications for a Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (QBHS) per Ohio Administrative Code.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience working in youth-serving systems such as behavioral health, child welfare, or juvenile justice.
