About the Role
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring clients, providing emotional support, ensuring safety and well-being, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. You will also participate in staff meetings, complete required paperwork, and communicate effectively with other staff members to promote quality client care.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate or GED preferred.
- Experience working in substance abuse and/or mental health preferred.
- Valid state driving license with no major violations in past five (5) years.
Preferred:
- Detail-oriented with excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
