About the Role
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will be responsible for implementing treatment plans, facilitating therapeutic activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients. Your daily tasks will include providing patient support, maintaining accurate documentation, managing crisis situations, engaging patients in therapeutic activities, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and families, monitoring safety, and participating in professional development.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental approach to patient care.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working in a behavioral health or mental health setting preferred.
