About the Role
As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will work directly with patients to support treatment plans, facilitate care coordination, monitor patient progress, and promote engagement in behavioral health services within an integrated primary care setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting behavioral health screenings, providing patient education, facilitating group activities, and maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
About You
Required:
- High school diploma and 3-5 years work experience.
- Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or social services.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Knowledgeable of community counseling and community resources.
- Ability to compile data, complete reports and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Bilingual a plus.
