About the Role
As a Bench Assembly Operator 1, you will be responsible for deburring, blending, polishing, and performing assembly operations on aircraft engine parts. Your tasks will include using hand and power tools, checking parts for quality, and following both oral and written instructions. You will also learn critical skills in aerospace manufacturing and have opportunities for on-the-job training.
About You
Required:
- High School or General Equivalency Diploma.
- 1 plus years of related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field.
Preferred:
- Understanding and following oral and written instructions.
- Knowledge of measuring tools such as height gages, verniers, calipers, and micrometers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer skills.
- Flexibility around shifts and ability to manage multiple priorities.
