Summary
Ford Motor Company is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team in Dearborn, MI. The role involves leading the development and delivery of GenAI software applications to support the global marketing organization.
About the Role
As a Data Scientist, you will lead the development and delivery of GenAI software applications, architect and integrate complex data science algorithms, ensure application performance, and mentor junior developers. You will work on creating vehicles that are as smart as you are, leveraging advanced technology to redefine the transportation landscape.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading or being part of a team delivering successful technology products.
- 5+ years of data and software application development experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Python programming and proficient understanding of GCP/BigQuery or equivalent cloud data environment.
- 1+ years of advanced knowledge of GenAI capabilities and data science applications experience.
Preferred:
- 10+ years of experience leading or being part of a team delivering successful technology products.
- 10+ years of data and software application development experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Python programming and proficient understanding of GCP/BigQuery or equivalent cloud data environment.
- 2+ years of advanced knowledge of GenAI capabilities and data science applications experience.
- 1+ year of experience developing flexible user interface frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience developing GenAI based data science solutions.
- Understanding of and experience working in the marketing communications and marketing analytics domains.
- Experience managing data discovery, integration and application development.
- Experience with analytics methodology research.
- Independent self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Positive thinker and inspiring to others on the team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships and work across teams.
