About the Role
As a Billing Director, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the billing department, ensuring accurate and timely billing in compliance with regulations. You will maintain relationships with healthcare providers and insurance companies, supervise the billing team, and update billing software systems. Additionally, you will develop billing policies and procedures and analyze billing performance to improve collections.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical insurance/healthcare billing practices.
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management position.
- Experience with medical terminology and adherence to billing regulations.
Preferred:
- Experience in behavioral health for substance abuse and mental health services.
- Proven track record for improving process efficiencies.
