About the Role
As a Biomedical Equipment Technician II, you will be responsible for performing planned maintenance procedures on clinical equipment, diagnosing and repairing issues, interacting with clinical staff to resolve operational problems, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. You will also provide on-call service coverage and assist in training junior technicians.
About You
Required:
- Associates of Applied Sciences degree in medical electronics, electronic technology, or related field.
- Three to five years' experience performing maintenance on medical devices.
- Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, The Joint Commission, and other regulations pertaining to clinical equipment.
Preferred:
- CBET certification.
- Ability to operate complex test equipment and analyze information.
- Strong customer service communication skills.
