Summary

BlackRock is seeking a Vice President for Investment Stewardship (BIS) to oversee the Latin America Portfolio, including companies in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, and Peru, as well as some companies in the United States and Canada.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for portfolio company research, analysis, engagement, and voting. You will demonstrate expertise in sector dynamics, prepare for and lead engagement meetings, support the development of corporate governance policies, and collaborate with various teams to enhance business processes. You will also monitor proxy voting workflows and analyze shareholder meeting agendas to ensure compliance with BlackRock's policies.

About You

Required:

Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, sciences, political science, sustainability, or a relevant field.
Three to five years of experience in finance or a related field with a strong understanding of financial statements and corporate finance.
Native or full business proficiency in English and Spanish.

Preferred:

Limited working proficiency in Portuguese.
A keen curiosity about corporate governance and sustainable business practices in the LatAm region.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style.
