Summary
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an AWS Cloud Architect, Mid to join their team in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves overseeing a team of experts to architect and deliver multi-cloud solutions for clients, particularly in support of the DoD.
About the Role
As an AWS Cloud Architect, Mid, you will collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to design and implement multi-cloud solutions. Your responsibilities will include modernizing IT infrastructure, managing container applications, and leading continuous integration and deployment efforts. You will have access to various cloud labs to explore innovative solutions for client challenges.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, including AWS in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments.
- 5+ years of experience leading multi-disciplinary solutioning for cloud-based efforts.
- Experience leading architecture for large engagements, including legacy and cloud system deployments.
- Experience with end-to-end cloud solution architecture, design, and deployment.
- Experience architecting and implementing highly-scalable, available, and fault-tolerant cloud-based solutions.
- Experience providing technical guidance to architects and engineers.
- Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred:
- Experience leading DevOps teams and implementing automation tools and processes.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification.
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solution Architect Professional, Google Cloud Architect, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification.
