About the Role
As a Boiler Operator, you will be responsible for executing maintenance and reliability services, ensuring the safe operation of facility water/gas/air systems, and participating in compliance activities. Your daily tasks will include technical troubleshooting, assisting with equipment installation, and leading maintenance projects. You will also promote safety and quality practices while mentoring other team members.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minnesota State 2nd Class Engineer Grade B boiler license or higher.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a utility maintenance operator with an emphasis on steam or refrigeration.
- Boiler Shift Operator license or boiler/ammonia equivalent certification.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree or two-year technical certificate.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Trained in regional utilities regulatory code to an operator’s level.
- E&I troubleshooting experience.
- Understanding of mechanical, piping, and/or electrical schematics.
