About the Role
As a Bookkeeper / Assistant Controller / Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and assisting with financial reporting. You will work closely with the current Controller to learn the company's accounting practices and systems, while also improving financial processes in a growing production business.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management experience.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred:
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA.
- Experience in a small-to-medium sized business environment.
- Experience in a production, manufacturing, or printing environment.
