CSL Behring is seeking an Associate Director Clinical Assay Strategy for Transplant & Immunology and Immunoglobulins to join their team in Waltham, MA. The role involves providing high-level expertise in bioanalytical and biomarker assays to support clinical studies.
About the Role
As the Associate Director Clinical Assay, you will lead the external execution of bioanalytical and biomarker assays, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. You will develop strategies to support clinical bioanalysis, mentor scientists, and manage project progression from nonclinical to clinical development phases. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors to optimize workflows and ensure timely project delivery.
About You
Required:
- Postgraduate degree (preferably PhD) in a relevant field such as clinical biomarker/bioanalytical assays, Hematology, CVR, Transplant, or Immunology.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent experience in a relevant academic environment.
- Strong scientific background in Life Sciences discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional, multicultural, and international teams.
- Deep understanding of regulatory guidance and industry best practices.
Preferred:
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to address complex problems.
- Experience in developing and implementing bioanalytical/biomarker strategies.
