Summary
Sihl Inc. is seeking a Boxer to join their team in Charleston, IL. The role involves packaging finished paper products into boxes and shipping containers in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Boxer, you will be responsible for checking work orders, printing labels, bagging and boxing products, applying labels, palletizing, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. You will perform repetitive tasks throughout the day, ensuring quality and organization in the packaging process.
About You
Required:
- Must be able to stand in one place for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds from ground to shoulders repetitively.
- Must be able to read and comprehend labels and work orders in English.
- Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled building which may be quite cold in the winter and close to 100 degrees in the summer.
- Must be able to do repetitive motions the entire shift.
- Neatness and organizational skills are required.
Preferred:
- Hearing protection is required when on the production floor.
- Experience operating a manual pallet jack.
