Summary
City of Boston Credit Union is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee operations in various locations. The role involves managing branch personnel, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering member relationships.
About the Role
As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the branch, including opening and closing procedures, supervising staff, managing security and safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. You will also coach and mentor team members, promote teamwork, and provide visible leadership within the community to enhance the credit union's presence.
About You
Required:
- Five (5) years of experience in a retail banking leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of retail policies and procedures.
- Outstanding leadership experience with a proven record of coaching and empowering employees.
- Ability to deal with complex problems in non-standardized situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in maintaining a strong risk and control environment.
Preferred:
- High school education (or equivalent) plus significant specialized training.
- Notary Public, NMLS required.
